As usual, we have sent out a few advance copies to existing customers, and the comments are as follows “How have you got these sounds?”, “Beautiful and mellow”, “Your best yet!”. ALL are underlining the fact that we have strove for a mellower sound overall.

We’ve succeeded in this by spending more time on the effects section, culminating in a warmer, richer sound, whilst striving to reproduce the feel of the original recordings. Unlike other software company’s products, all registrations are named so that you know exactly where to change them if you’re following the music book. Fill-ins activate automatically with many of the registrations, making less work for you to do, giving you more time to concentrate on your playing.  I personally have spent days simply playing with this set after its completion, just for the fun of it. It’s simply…beautiful.

BOOK: Well, where have Music Sales been hiding this gem? We first came to know about it when a 2nd hand copy came in many months ago. We immediately started work on producing registrations for it. The book is FULL SIZE (A4), not the smaller “101 Buskers” size, and the music is much bigger, clearer and easier to read than usual busker books. What’s more, it was specially arranged for KEYBOARD by the master Roger Evans.

All songs are in easy keys, complete with playing tips, extra chords in brackets if you’re feeling adventurous, and most importantly – ALMOST EVERY SONG IS A WELL-LOVED POP STANDARD! The songs are mostly 2 page spreads that open out easily on your keyboard stand. Heck – I don’t even need my glasses to play it!

But it’s so much bigger and easier to use, you’ll see. And this collection features some songs we’ve NEVER seen in any other busker book.
